The notes that are based on the lectures delivered by P C Vaidya at Sardar Patel University when he visited the department from 22 January 1982 to 21 March 1982 under UGC Visiting Fellowship Programme. The lectures are on Geostationary Orbits, Consequences of Negative Potential Energy, Spherical Stars, Artificial Satellite - Elliptic Orbits, Newtonian Mechanics.
