Regarding integration of science and technology into fabric of transitional society. Response to a letter by V Siddhartha published in New Scientist, in response to article by Parthasarathi (AP). AP, based at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, poses two questions: (1) Are the norms of international science applicable in the current Indian context? (2) How much Science for India?
