Content Description The collection contains material donated by different donors related to history of ecology and conservation in India. Series one contains papers of Zafar Futehally who was a prominent ornithologist and writer. Futehally was involved with BNHS, NLFBW, BET, WFF, MoE etc and has worked on writing about birding and conservation of ecosystems in India. This archival collection consists of photographic material from TNA Perumal, who was a wildlife photographer. The current batch of material consists of negative sleeves. The series is titled, Negatives- Area/Project based.

There are about 25 sub-series in this series which is based on the Areas he worked in, and it is arranged alphabetically. The folders in each sub-series is arranged chronologically.
